Considering that avian flu has spread to many different Mammals, and there is currently great and warranted concern,

should I stop feeding the sparrows in the near future?

I see the Daily Mail is doing Daily Mail things this morning. Seriously, we're still using the language of "immunity debt" as if that isn't going to hurl us into science-denial hell? Does #ImmunityDebt attempt to describe a real phenomenon? Sort of? Immune systems need input to create antibodies. But this doesn't come close to explaining the entire picture, and when we simplify things that aren't actually simple, we get people killed. #epidemiology #EpiFedi #EpiMastodon #DisabilityJustice
