I am up AND downstairs! Did a bit of clean & tidy up in the kitchen. Then I prepped a #VenisonStew (top image) for the #SlowCooker. After that, I prepared a #BreadAndButterPudding (bottom image), which housemate will need to pop in the oven later. Terribly sad news to hear of the death of #MichaelGambon, #Dumbledore to millions, a favourite of my grandparents in #TheSingingDetective, but today I want to point to his hysterical supporting rôle in #Quartet (2012), in which - as in HP - he acted alongside Maggi Smith.

Prior to #disability, amongst other things, I was an amateur contemporary-dancer. (See posts from the past two days in which I lament via #poetry the loss of my ability to #dance !) We did street-performances as well as pieces on stage. One of the tracks I used to perform to was “#WalkingWounded ” by #DonFrancisco. Obviously not to everyone’s taste. However, it has a simple narrative and an emotional-pull, which worked well for outside performance.

Scouring personalised programme-recommendations, I encountered a production I did not know existed "#JoannaLumley's #Danube" - and what a great first episode.
Places I myself have visited include #Hofbräuhaus in #Munich, the #Wachau vineyards of #LowerAustria and #Schönbrunn Palace in #Vienna. I am not going to ruïn all the lovely surprises, but have tissues to hand just in case.

On my analysis, #Waitrose vend just 16 #ReadyMeals that are safe for me to eat, i.e. not containing known #allergens nor ingredients that would cause a flare of a #FoodIntolerance. Full spreadsheet included within the blog-post.

Lack of services provided by #NHS for #pwFM i.e. #Fibromyalgia (another of my conditions). I can honestly say that other than an ill-fitting (thus useless and so did not help!) neck-brace, I have received no specific treatment or medication for my illness from primary- or secondary-care.

My instance is closing in 3 months. I now find that I cannæ transfer my posts to any new a/c. I am thankful I didnæ delete my Twitter a/c, where the majority of my #pwME #SupportNetwork is. Having inter alia #SevereME & #anxiety means I am über-stressed. I prefer the - mostly - calmer nature of Mastodon. The fact an #instance can disappear in an instant means I need a new home here: a team of moderators seems the fail-safe agin a single person’s demise, etc. #Queer & #disabled suggestions?

@ahimsa_pdx I was fortunate to have both a G.P. (Senior partner) & later a #NHS hospital consultant who accepted that #PVFS, #CFS, #ME - specifically #SevereME - precluded the ability to join in with #GET. I did have a course of general #CBT which helped me immensely to cope with loss of function, etc. Nonetheless, the fact that others were/are forced was/is still unsettling to read or hear about. The other day I had an #AnxietyAttack re such occurring in Germany & Norway!

First time since my bout of ‘flu back in mid-Sept. that I have been able to complete a hard #sudoku (achievement confirmed in image). As a #pwME & a #pwFM, I use these puzzles to judge how my mind is on any given day: if I cannæ solve a hard one, then I know I am brain-fogged and thus am aware not to do anything too taxing mentally or that requires physical co-ordination (the #dysautonomia is worse when suffering #BrainFog). Feeling chipper! Ha ha ha

Remembering twelve years ago today being able to read not one but two books in the same day! Now I am limited to reading webcomics and small snippets of text. As dancing was my favourite physical activity, reading was my fave cerebral pastime. This malfunctioning body has taken too much joy from my existence.

Plus getting back into bed. Then even drinking requires two handed co-ordination so as to minimise spillage from shakes & spasms. I also recalled to select a biscuit, so I not only drank but also had sonething to eat!

For the first time in a couple of weeks or so I managed to make myself a hot-drink via the Senseo in housemate’s room. It requires:
a return hobble of no more than 10 metres;
selecting drink;
selecting cup;
loading machine;
selecting programme;
instigating drink-making;
trying not to fall down whilst waiting;
switching off Senseo;
opening lid to air;
picking up cup;
then transferring back to my room without spilling.Plus getting back into bed.

Over several weeks I composed a letter to the social-worker who has taken over my case, as they wanted to know about my abilities to communicate.
