  1. Here is why you should open your #windows whenever you can. On the left, is 2:05 PM when I’ve had the windows closed all day, the #CO2 levels in the house are high, indicating poor #ventilation. Now swipe to the right image, the levels have dropped to a third after leaving the windows open for over 2 hours, indicating excellent ventilation. High CO2 levels indoors can cause various #health issues including #tiredness, #headaches, #eye #irritation, #dizziness and/or #difficulty #concentrating, so please check your levels inside your house. I borrowed this CO2 monitor as well as an #AQI monitor from my local #library

  5. You know change is a matter of #willpower. Decision. So I'm probably not going to bed before #meditation because that would just be ridiculous. So willpower to slog through the #tiredness and actually meditate and not fall asleep on camera in front of #Guruji!! 🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️

  7. If you have ever had a friend / loved one with #depression or have experienced it yourself, you know #tiredness is a common symptom (due to poor #sleep quality). Turns out, it also works the other way around; poor sleep and sleep deprivation can lead to depression.
Although It's never that simple, and sleeping more might not be good for depression.

  8. I normally sleep 6-7 hours per night, but occasionally I will sleep longer. I think my body is just helping me recover. But I never feel good after a long sleep, well at least not initially.

Last night I slept about 10 hours and I feel very groggy this morning. Luckily I am work-free today or it would be agony.

  10. But I would sleep 500 miles
And I would sleep 500 more
Just to be the one who sleeps a thousand miles
To fall down at your door

    When I'm working, yes I...
Edit: too tired to finish #sleepasong #tiredness

  11. @maikel
There are days when people achieve everything they set out to do? 😂

Seriously though, on the days I need it #modafinil is great for #alertness
Not every day as they're not cheap (where I am about $2 per pill). I learnt about it from a #MichaelMosley documentary about #sleep You need a #prescription for them though (where I am anyway). It's a #stimulant like #caffeine but without the side-effects, like #jitters

  12. My relatives keep saying: you sleep too much. Must be because you spend your days inside and you do no sports.

It sounds to me like something they make up to force me to do stuff I don't like. Is there any grain of truth to it though? I couldn't find anything convincing about it online.

  13. Why children misbehave when they are tired

    theconversation.com/why-childr

"So when we are tired, we tend to say things that we shouldn’t, that we know might hurt people we care about. And we do this because the executive functions – the control tower of our behaviour – work less efficiently."

Interesting. Applies to any age. This is why I can't understand why they make new doctors work those ridiculous long hours.

  14. Several years later I was diagnosed with sleep apnoea and use a CPAP machine. However, while that helped with daytime tiredness, the change in my situation was effected years earlier by the MAO inhibitors.
