Audacity 3.2.0 is out and now has (among other things):
- real time non-destructive audio effects (I think they are always pre-fader)
- VST3 support

The global politics are unfortunately affecting open-source audio. Not in a good way.
The developer of LSP plug-ins may soon be forced to serve in the Russian army. He's previously expressed his strong stance regarding the war and is definitely not on board.
The Linux Studio Plug-ins (LSP) suite is one of the most advanced and high quality. A real beacon in the libre audio.

HiFiScan is an open-source application that lets you either manually or automatically create an #EQ curve to compensate for your speakers or room frequency response in order to achieve a flat, neutral audio reproduction. There are well known commercial products that do this, so here's a #libre alternative:

Chris from AirWindows has released another open-source plugin. This time it's Tape Delay 2.
Thanks to the Patreona support that he has, he can release all plugins for free and their source code under MIT. He's also building Linux VST binaries for all his plugins.
