@Hyperlynx Challenging (not only mechanically) video games tend to be nice for getting better at things other than just the games themselves in a way that can be hard to know exactly where it'll lead in advance.

Remembering that time where We got into #Mindustry for a while and ended up getting better at cleaning things up offline because it turned to be a similar exercise of actively considering the space elements take and the purpose they fulfill.

And, yeah, makes total sense that a game that encourages a healthy relationship to dealing with frustration ends up affecting that beyond just the gameplay, too.

Remembering this research study (of a small sample size) that compared a group of folks who were given a brain training game with another that was given Portal 2, and the group with Portal 2 ended up showing a better response to cognitive tests. https://myweb.fsu.edu/vshute/pdf/portal.pdf

well it is offline and Mindustry can also be offline so both of those games should share spot number 4️⃣

It was a pain to play Mindustry on the steam deck. I did play many hours, even unlocked the Corvus...but holy heck it gets repetitive after a while and I'd rather have this repetition while using a mouse and a keyboard than only having a Steam Deck without a dock!

I got sector 65 now getting everything from Ground Zero (and GZ gets everything from all I got!)

9 Launch pads there!
