also, i broke a fader (when in a bag) on my old LIVID OHMRGB midi/usb controller before the set, so i had to remap volume fader to the one beside and got confused during the set at least 5 times, why the new track can't be heard as i'm pushing it up
perhaps an excuse to invest into something new. i'm looking at #reloop mixtour pro (nice DJ controller/mixer with an audio interface included - mixxx mapping already exist and are shared), or custom #Yaeltex - no audio interface there. i can also invest time to finalize a touchOSC interface to #mixxx but that's quite an experiment.

So what can I say? I need to return the laptop, wait a week or so, order a new laptop, set that up again and test it as much as I possibly can - in the hopes that the next one does the trick.
It's either that, or abandon windows altogether - as well as #Ableton, because then I'll be going over to #Bitwig and #Mixxx.
But the software I have is too expensive to just abandon - but I will if I need to. I'll even sell the licences.
All because of #Windows.
