New toy. Also happens to be the cheapest hardware I could find which supports MPE (Midi Polyphonic Expression). That's what swung it for me, when I was resisting buying on eBay.

Built-in midi support too. Hopefully I can plug Resonance straight into it and start playing, if implementing MPE goes well it might sneak into the v1 release.

Just received a midi to CV converter and now I can demo how to use Pure Data for some basic audio reactivity yay https://youtu.be/pF9rb0F8apo

As you can see it's a bit slow to update as the data has to go from, in this instance: Tidal > PD > Midi-to-CV and then to show on screen after receiving midi: LZX modules > component-to-hdmi converter > hdmi capture card > obs.

So yeah, lots of latency. Still I can see myself syncing it to a midi device somehow. #eurorack #videosynthesis

Okay, it's time. Time to change servers. Time to have local & federated timelines that don't make my eyes bleed. Time to support an indie effort.

Does anyone want to share about their server? My main interests are #Music - I play #Eurorack #Synth, #Guitar, #ChapmanStick, and software, with varying degrees of skill - and #Mathematics - I'm attempting to get into grad school for #Math to facilitate a career change. I'm also liberal af, if that matters one way or the other on your server.
