New toy. Also happens to be the cheapest hardware I could find which supports MPE (Midi Polyphonic Expression). That's what swung it for me, when I was resisting buying on eBay.
Built-in midi support too. Hopefully I can plug Resonance straight into it and start playing, if implementing MPE goes well it might sneak into the v1 release.

I bought another #eurorack module. I'd been doing so well, it's been months and months, but then started browsing all-in-one synth/voice modules, because I didn't want to build up a basic waveform synth from 5 separate modules. Then while reading the Oxi Coral manual I found out it also supports MPE which is something I've wanted for a while for Resonance development and found one on eBay.
This should allow me to trigger a note and change its volume afterwards without re-triggering it, and it's got built in MIDI input, plus effects.

Things around me are moving way to fast. Here is me trying to make the OP-Z (which is falling apart) #midiTracker and #eurorack sing together.
Miditracker is sending MIDI to the eurorack as well as the OP-Z with the basic chord mode I built.
These chords and things then go into beads and from threre to the rest of the rack.
Neat.

My background is in #audiorecording and #electronics . I have always wanted to design my own #eurorack modules but never actually did it to completion. I feel that now is the time. I think I'll start with a basic distortion/fuzz/overdrive and see where this goes. Only problem is I have so many interests I am so easily pulled in other directions. This time I plan on staying focused. ... Hopefully

AY3-8910 tries to do SID voice. Syncing the internal modulator to the bass note periods for pretend pwm. Not bad at all for the humble AY without resorting to the intense cpu control of the volume registers, as might be found in much demoscene stuff.
