  1. Ah yes, I remember that first video of the Nopia prototype. This looks impressive.

  6. our friend glassmemphis has been getting some love lately:

i've built a whole new preset management/soundware layer to work across all of my plugins.

the visual language used by all of my plugins has been coming into focus, and glassmemphis is now better aligned with queencharlotte and punchbuggy.

    this is officially v0.1.4.

  11. This thing is really fun to play with. I just love the hands-on experience with 1:1 controls. Nothing is hidden behind menus, weird button combinations etc. One dedicated slider/switch per parameter.

  12. Battle of the open source synths on Linux: #Vitalium, #SurgeXT, #Synthv1, #Dexed, #ZynAddSubFX. There's also #Helm, but it's just a precursor of Vitalium (by the same developer). There are a couple more, but these are the most common or capable ones.

I wish there was some more development of Vitalium. The creator of #Vital dropped the v1 as GPL, and then he closed sourced it. The community didn't really do much with it.
