Saw a guy in a Writing With AI subreddit, talking about how his years as a marketer have informed his approach to churning out slop as quickly as possible (But don't worry, the ideas are his) because the more "Product" you have the faster you make money.
Oh man I can't wait for this idiot to discover that (as much as I wish it weren't the case) books aren't a get rich quick scheme.

I don't know why I let myself get sucked into arguments with idiots. An AI "writer" just said "Well if releasing a thousand books a year didn't work, why are the big publishers doing it?"
OMG these are unserious people that somehow think books are a quick route to riches. Like did you just get your human skin yesterday?

They can't suppress us. They can't out passion us. So they're trying to gaslight consumers into believing that AI is a better option for creatives. But anyone who has interacted with a creative knows that is bs. Heck, AI can't even handle coding.
So what I'm trying to say is that as much as big tech is trying to push passion out of the creative arts, the creative arts will never leave the passion.

So I was about to start cooking when I had a thought. The push for generative AI (shortened to AI) in the creative industry doesn't come from a point of efficiency, but rather a point of disdain.
As someone who is trying to turn his creative endeavors (writing, music, animation, game dev) into a financially viable business, I realized very quickly that passion puts people off. If you want to get people with money to invest, the numbers need to make sense.

Sorta. I'm working on dialing back business spend since sales have been slowing. This month is one of my slowest sales months since starting and that's with a release (new series so no hype) in August. And this year is one of my worst overall as well.
