Yesterday I went to a garage sale for a small, local drafting company that was closing down for retirement. Unfortunately I missed the giant paper cutter (auntie told me "if you want something specific, you have to come early! It's 9am already!"), but I did get this cigar box of old school drafting stamps. These are gonna be fun in zines and other arts. It's very hard to re-create these fonts and text styles and having the originals can give a work an excellent impression of the time period.

About the art process behind my book covers…and a question...
I began abstract painting around 2015–2016 after many years of realistic pen and ink sketching connected to my architectural work. Over time, colour, geometry, and nature shifted my practice toward abstraction.
In 2022, I gave an artist talk at the Lundt‑Glover Gallery in Chatham, NJ, hosted by the Art League of the Chathams, where I discussed my work at the time, including digital developments in NFTs and my decision not to pursue that direction.
Later that year, I began the 27‑painting series that my current ecofiction trilogy covers are based on, using four panels from that show as the starting point for the newer work.
Three good things:
1. Making art.
2. Sharing art.

The piece shown, Wellness, was part of the solo show and later became the cover for our ASEI Arts international charity anthology, Anthology House Vol. 2, created to benefit UNICEF.

I took a trip down to Raleigh, NC. to drop off some neon and pick up some giant fluorescent tubing that was slated for the dumpster. This neon shop relocated to New Orleans and they left behind two pallets of tubing with diameters ranging from 15-25mm and lengths between 6 and 10 feet (2-3 meters)!
I was only able to fit about a fifth of the choicest colors into my minivan. Mega, giant tubes. Apparently these came from Atlantic City shops making neon and lighting for hotels and casinos there.
When I can get them, these big tubes cost me $20- $30 each new. Now I have hundreds of them to play with! Instead of lining cove lights and skyscrapers, the giant tubes are gonna become big cloud doodles, sculptures, and line my living room :). Like bending big leaded balloons!

Which kind of Posca pens should I buy as my first set? I understand there seem to be slightly different tips etc?
I want to be able to do somewhat fine details, but also colour in smallish areas of a few cm². Different surfaces ranging from thick paper to stone.[Boost would ne nice.]
