Don’t Toss Those Christmas Cards! Creative Upcycling Ideas 🎄
Every year, beautiful Christmas cards get tucked away in drawers or tossed into the recycling bin after the holidays. And vintage Christmas cards are becoming harder to find, making them even more special! So why not give them a second life? In this post, I’ll show you a few ways to turn old cards into something new—from handmade ornaments made with mason jar lids and Altoid tins to a simple DIY project that transforms leftover cards into colorful scrapbook paper for other crafts. It’s a fun way to preserve those bits of sparkle, color, and holiday cheer.

DIY Scrapbook paper:
All you need is a paper cutter, some old cards, Yes Paste and a 12X12 sheet of paper – I used the cover of scrapbook paper book.
Old cards Cut in 1/2″ slices Glue into placeStart by cutting the cards into 1/2″ strips then just glue into place with the Yes Paste, and that is it for a super simple project!
