In #alttech there’s a lot of “doing good,” but much of it’s blinded good — soft smiles masking quiet conformity to the #deathcult.
When “care” becomes control and “community” becomes enclosure, we lose what made the #openweb alive.
The fix? Compost the mess — start with the #fluffy / #spiky debate and rebuild trust from difference, not denial.

The #Fediverse exists, and more than that, it’s alive and kicking. Sure, it might be a messy, chaotic, a bit fragmented, and yes, still niche. But let’s not underplay it, this is the healthiest corners of the internet we’ve got.
