The Canadian Anti-Hate Network has identified nearly 200 Canadian users of the white supremacist dating site, WhiteDate, which was hacked, deleted, and leaked by German antifascist hacktivist Martha Root late last year. Only one, however, was seduced by the AI chatbot Root created to extract personal information from the site’s users—Joshua Lenti-Jones, of Surrey, British Columbia.
Lenti-Jones is an Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, and owns the Sovereign Vitality Natural Medicine clinic in Aldergrove, British Columbia. One of the most verbose Canadian users on the site, Lenti-Jones disclosed over 3000 words of personal identifying information to Root’s chatbot over the course of only five messages, in addition to the over 700 words on his profile describing himself and his ideal partner. Based on this extraordinary amount of self-disclosure, including details about his career, mother’s health history, specific hobbies, family ancestry, and more—CAHN was able to identify Lenti-Jones as the user “Redknight.”

Among them are a number of members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), including Royal Canadian Air Force Major Tristan Armstrong, who apparently left a trail of thousands of posts in far-right forums between 2019-2024. The CAF is now investigating him.
Armstrong's online posts championed Nazi Germany and Oswald Mosley's British Union of Fascists, really off-the-charts views about Black people, women, and LGBTQ folks.

Another is Ottawa-based naval reservist Brogan Hale ("blueeyedsailor" on WhiteDate.net), who has expressed eliminationist ideas in order to "keep Canada white".
And a third is Brandon Longpré, a self-identified corporal in the Governor General's Foot Guards in Ottawa. Longpré isn't quoted in either of these articles, but having observed WhiteDate closely while it was still up and running, I can tell you that it's pretty inconceivable that anyone could have had an account on there without knowing that it was a forum for people on the white nationalist/neo-nazi spectrum.

Ein Nutzer aus #Graz ist auch dabei. Anscheinend ein promovierter Biologe und Bienenzüchter. Sucht man nach seinem Namen wird man schnell fündig. Für die #FPÖ Graz hält er anscheinend gern Vorträge darüber, wie gefährlich die Hybridisierung und damit Rassen-Vermischung für die Carnica-Biene ist.
Aber nicht nur die Biene muss seiner Meinung nach reinrassig sein. Auf seinem #WhiteDate Profil hat er über seine Leidenschaft geschrieben:
"I am also a passionate defender of our germanic race, and I hate it when white people hybridise with negroes or humans of other races."

Am I the only person who feels some discomfort considering #MarthaRoot deleting #WhiteDate live on stage? (Assuming *it was real* and the deletion wasn't done by someone else from somewhere else in parallel.)
I mean, I certainly don't want to side with #Nazis, #WhiteSupremacists (fuck them) and the like, but what happened there was clearly against the law. Is there a better justification to this than "we're the good ones, they're the bad ones, so it's okay to do it to them"? And if so, where do you draw the line?
What about the "protect private data" from the #CCC's #hackerethics ? Does it not apply to #Nazis?

She also took down a couple of other sites affiliated with White Date. So good!
If I've got the date right, she did this on Dec. 30. As of 8AM (West Coast US time) on Jan. 6, it appears the site is still down.
