Привет, Хабр! Сегодня рассмотрим тему обработки временных рядов с помощью Polars. Начну с того, что в Pandas для агрегации временных рядов принято использовать метод resample() . Он удобен и привычен, но имеет свои ограничения по производительности и гибкости. Polars, в свою очередь, имеет метод groupby_dynamic() , который позволяет группировать данные по динамическим временным интервалам.

How much chiptunes would a chipmunk... tune...?

Thanks to super-secret government technology arpeggios no longer sound like nails on a chalkboard in AmigoTracker 1.21! I also managed to squeeze some extra performance out of the resampler, allowing a 2x output sample rate within tolerable loading times.

The song is 4mat's amazing "back again".

After fixing it, I decided to test it. It is connected in place of the step sequencer. It seems to have a small issue with triggering, sometimes causing the sample and hold to resample when releasing the key. Have to look into this.

Seriously @EU_Commission how can you screw up showing a #QR_code code? Yes, it scans, but it seems to have been resampled somewhere and gets clipped before being displayed.
