@koen_hufkens I've been looking at that model myself recently, for photogrammetry purposes. My dream & plan is to record 3D snapshots of glacier tongues/gates over the coming years (for comparison, as part of my #TimeFade project), similar to what this research team was doing already back in 2017 and which should be much easier to achieve by now (e.g. via https://webodm.org)

Throwback to a month ago for #WaterfallWednesday... Three hours earlier we were ~800 meters higher up, just below the summit of that peak in the background and the near the beginning of this ravine...
With the next heatwave moving in this week, the great melting of these glaciers will accelerate again... 😢
