  4. I'm checking PixiEditor and it's doing much better than a couple of years ago.

Drawing with vectors right next to Pixel Art, next to regular image editing is wild, and I haven't even tried the procedural art yet.

Also, the No AI stance right there in the site's home screen 👌 That's what I want to see.

  5. Raster-enabling Apache Hop: @edigonzales continues his series on #geoenabling #ApacheHop, this time adding #raster support to his hop-gdal-plugin. Stefan walks through an #ETL pipeline that computes building heights from LiDAR and vector data using new raster transforms...

[the math is way over my head, hence the wiki page leak, but a good read nonetheless]
    “HIGHLIGHTS:
    • Hexagonal multi-structural elements enhance Earth's surface modeling precision.
    • Integration of indexing and conversion rules improves geospatial data computation.
    • DGGRID implementation shows increased precision in raster and vector data modeling.
    • Addresses limitations in existing software for Earth observation data.
    • Pioneering approach expands geospatial data processing applications…"

  12. Has anyone in the maphive used #GDAL or #rasterio to sieve *a targeted value* in a #raster

I'm having some success with these tools to weed out small polygons globally, but I'm actually aiming to affect one DN/class and not the others.
