Jeg fortæller jer alt for lidt om det jeg laver til daglig på kokkeskolen (noget med at adskille arbejdsliv og resten af livet, jeg ikke er helt afklaret med). I went from #Arad to #Sighișoara today with the Alstom Coradia Stream (RE-IR 101), that is pretty new in CFRs fleet. It is running here as IR 16023 from Timișoara to Bucuresti with a journey time of 12h. The train is clearly a regio train and would not be used on such long journeys in other countries. Still the seating comfort is not worse than in second class IC services of CFR.

I am one of those who don't see a way use the graph view in #Obsidian when zoomed in on individual notes, but zoomed out I admit it is fascinating to look at. I don't know how I'll use an image like that. Perhaps to get some perspective on my own thought. For example, I can see that my externalized thinking is taken up by around 10% orphans. If you use the graph view to get a bigger picture, how do you use it? I'm curious.

@ml I regret that too. I really think it is a missed opportunity. The fediverse has possibilities for more structured conversation too, like long-form posting in forum threads, which topical posting lends itself well to , and with #NodeBB we could federate those conversations. I sometimes despair how the gap between the technology we have available and the willingness to adopt it is so great. We could be living in the future right now, but alas, it will take some time to get to the future still.

I'm watching Inside the Manosphere. I will admit, I feel hatred. I think a good kind - one that's contained and not overwhelming me with outrage. There's so much outrage in this documentary. A constant stream of verbal attacks, blaming, discounting, oughtitudes, self-righteous questions and complaining - most of it directed against women and some vague system that is oppressing "strong men". And all the time, not a single man names his feelings and just says: I'm angry!

Interesting, very actionable and integrates well with other traditions I relate to: systems theory, organizations where all voices matter, non-violent communication, cooperative movements, iterative/agile methods. Did anyone try to install #valetudo on a Roborock S8?

I know it is listed as unsupported but since there is a guide I just wanted to see how far I can get.

On page 26 it mentions a file called "_rr.XXX_phoenixsuit.img" which I cannot find.
As far as I can tell It is not part of the firmware package. At least not with that name.

Ich habe zwei Arbeitsbereiche eingerichtet und dort jeweils verschiedene Tabs in Gruppen angeheftet.

Starte ich den Browser, öffnet Vivaldi aber immer genau einen Tab, der eigentlich im anderen Arbeitsbereich sein soll im aktuellen Bereich. Schließe ich den Tab, warte etwas, schließe und starte erneut, zack, der Tab taucht wieder auf.

Gleichzeitig ist der im anderen Arbeitsbereich auch nicht mehr vorhanden.

Irgend jemand eine Idee, wie ich den dauerhaft los werde?

DeltaChat hat sich ja auf die Fahne geschrieben, dezentral zu sein. Ok, technisch gesehen ist es das ja auch.

Aber wenn als Chatmail Relay immer nur nine.testrun.org eingetragen ist, wiederspricht das nicht mit steigender Benutzeranzahl dem Grundgedanken? Dann hat man doch früher oder später eine Server der immer weiter belastet wird und wenn er ausfällt, wird für viele Delta nicht nutzbar sein. Ja, es gibt die Möglichkeit weitere Relays einzutragen. Muss der Benutzer aber auch erst einmal wissen wie es geht und es dann auch noch konfigurieren. Die meisten 0815 Benutzer steigen da nämlich schon aus.

Wäre es da nicht gut, wenn der Benutzer eine Instanz per Zufall angezeigt bekommt und bei Bedarf selber eine aus einem Dropdown auswählen könnte?

Suche auf #peertube ?

Die Videoplattform ist ja nicht schlecht. Aber mit der Suche muss ich mich erst mal anfreunden. Es werden ja hauptsächlich Videos von der Plattform, auf der ich mich gerade befinde, angezeigt.

Das ist, wie ich finde, ein ziemlicher Hinderungsgrund, wenn man zu bestimmten Themen etwas sucht. Zumal wenn die Videos erst mal von der Hauptseite verschwunden sind, da weitere Angebote hochgeladen wurden.

Wenn ich das korrekt sehe, ist eine Instanzenübergreifende Suche bei manchen Instanzen vorhanden (marginal zumindest), bei anderen scheint sie ganz abgeschaltet zu sein.

Gerade wenn ich hier lese, dass man doch auch größere Youtuber ins Fediverse holen möchte. Versteht mich nicht falsch, aber so werden sich da kaum Leute von überzeugen lassen.

Oder suche ich nur falsch, bzw. nutze Peertube falsch?

Fänd es ja cool, wenn #Mastodon einen Scheduler für Beiträge hätte, so wie #friendica.

Ich gehe immer den Umweg über Tusky. Finde das aber ein ziemliches gefummel, da ich noch aus einer Generation komme, als mit den Händen gearbeitet wurde und die Pranken einfach zu groß sind für so ein friemeliges Smartphonedisplay. Das geht am PC einfach geschmeidiger.

Seit heute bekomme ich beim Import über die YT URL immer den folgenden Fehler:

Instanzenproblem? Oder hat YT wieder irgend etwas gesperrt?

PeerTube - ich gebe es langsam auf!

Also ich habe jetzt einige Videos von Youtube importiert. Einige "Standard" und einige Shorts.

Alle laufen nicht wirklich rund. D.h. es dauert einige Zeit bis die geladen werden, dann werden sie in einer Auflösung von 144px gezeigt. Schaltet man um, bekommt man eine Dia Show, die gut alle 60 Sekunden für 2 Sekunden Bilder zeigt.

Vielleicht bin ich zu ungeduldig oder lade den falschen Kontent. Vielleicht ist es ja auch nur bei mir so. Aber PC und Smartphone, wäre schon ziemlich ungewöhnlich.

So aber, ist das in keinster Weise annähernd nutzbar. Ich warte mal noch die Antwort vom Seitenbetreiber ab, fürchte aber der wird da auch nicht viel sagen könnnen, und dann ist das Experiment vorerst erledigt.

Wenn noch jemand Tipps hat, immer gerne. Ich bin da völlig ratlos
