    OK, I am stuck with #texlatex, specifically #babel. May I invoke the mighty #fedibrain for some help? #boosts welcome.

    Thing is, I am writing a thesis on a Linux Mint 22.3 laptop. Some of the LaTeX packages are quite old, eg. Babel is nearly two years behind. The document is mainly in nynorsk, but has sections in many other languages, both LTR and RTL. I have used Polyglossia up until now. It works of sorts, but not for everything, eg. for bilingual text in a heading.

    #FediBrain moving to libvirt but still using Vagrant - only vagrant 2.4.0-1 seems to work for me - Older versions cannot download boxes, newer versions doesn't recognize libvirt. What the f... did I do wrong or is it just a mess?

    Wo, oh wo könnte ich in Deutschland leichtes, weißes, unbedrucktes(!) Tyvek kaufen? Nicht über Amazon, wohlgemerkt.

    Muss nochmal das Thema     #Benachrichtigungen ansprechen.

    Hab meinen Firefish account nun in drei Browser und zwei Apps getestet.
    Sowohl im account als auch in PWA und Apps sind alle Benachrichtigungseinstellungen konfiguriert.
    Dennoch bekomme ich keine Benachrichtigungen. (Selbst über E-Mail nicht, obwohl ich auch das eingestellt habe.)
    Die Apps sind auch schon mit Mastodon gelaufen, da funktionierten die Benachrichtigungen problemlos.

    Hat da jemand schon selbe oder gleiche Erfahrungen gesammelt und kann mir einen Tipp geben. Wäre sehr dankbar.
