Gerade in #Osmand getestet und mögliche Lösung gefunden...

POI-Suche nach "#Shelter" zeigt Kategorie "#Unterstand" als Ergebnis. Wenn diese geklickt wird, dann gibts via Filter-Symbol weitere Optionen: Eingedeutscht scheint bei "Art" die "Offene Hütte mit Pultdach" dem Shelter-Typ "lean_to" zu entsprechen.

... gibt dazu viele Treffer ab ca. Schleswig-Holstein und in Dänemark.

Shelter zum Anlehnen :) Interessante Kategorisierung (vielleicht ist das "schiefe" Dach gemeint, "lean to" hat verschiedene Bedeutungen).

Eine Frage dazu: Um kostenlose #Trekkingplätze in der #OpenStreetMap zu finden, habe ich in #Osmand nach POI "Campingplatz" gesucht, und dann via Filtersymbol bei "Gebühr" "nein" angehakt. Ist es sinnvoll, das in OSM für den #Shelter dazu zu schreiben? In Dänemark habe ich so ca. die Hälfte der Shelter von der offiziellen Webseite udinaturen.dk gefunden.

Die Kategorie "Trekkingplatz kostenlos" gibt es glaube ich in OSM nicht, also "Campingplatz ohne Gebühr" ist am nächsten dran, oder?

Ich hab auf #osmand #cycleosm als Karte eingestellt.
Da werden mir markierte Radwege/routen angezeigt.

Aber ich krieg osmand nicht dazu, dass es die Navigation entlang so eines Radwegs macht.
Wozu gibt es diese eingezeichneten Radwege dann überhaupt? Das ist doch nur für die Würscht!

Mal ganz anderes Thema, als dein Beta-Test. - In der von mir verwendeten #OpenSource Navigations-App "OsmAnd~" kann ich die aktuelle Höhe des Standorts oder die Höhe der Kartenmitte in der Kartenansicht anzeigen lassen, hier im Screenshot-Ausschnitt: Höhe = 14 m.

Ich habe auf meinem Android Handy keinen GooglePlay Store, kann mich also am Test nicht beteiligen.

Unpopular opinion : Je n'ai pas d'envie particulière que les notes Openstreetmap soient majoritairement rattachées à un compte. L'anonymat c'est bien aussi.
osm.org et Osmand ont la fonctionnalité. Comaps ne permet pas les notes anonymes.
Déso armchairmapper, résoudre depuis ton fauteuil c'est bien, mais des fois il faut marcher aussi.

Ich möchte Informationen zur Navigation (Turn-by-turn-Navigation, voraussichtliche Ankunftszeit usw.) aus #OSMAnd via #Gadgetbridge zur Anzeige auf ein Wearable senden. Idealerweise soll das dauerhaft angezeigt werden. Bisher habe ich es nur geschafft, dass die nächste Abzweigung als Benachrichtigung gesendet wird.
Hat jemand Tipps?

Je vois beaucoup plus de mes contacts utiliser Comaps, dont j'entends beaucoup de bien, peut-être que c'est français à la base ?

I think I already wrote a post about it, I forget, but I will write it anyway since I meet correcting my past self in #crowdsourcedtranslation again :P.

One of the many things I usually get confused with #English, for #translation usually related to #OpenStreetMap, is the difference between "altitude" and "elevation", because both are usually used interchangeably, even though they are supposed to mean something slightly different.

So, as I understand it, "altitude" refers to height difference from sea level, while "elevation" refers to height difference from point A to point B.
In #Greek I settled myself to translate them respectively "υψόμετρο" and "ανύψωση" (although the last one isn't necessarily per se, but usually the context is how much higher or lower you travelled since you started the journey).

The problem is, as I said before, many times those two terms are used interchangeably, like in #OsmAnd, where the translation Key says "get_altitude_data", but the String says "Get elevation data". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Does anyone know if OsmAnd has a walking routing mode that optimizes for shade?

I'm still unsure on navigation map options. I have #OSMScout and #MagicEarth (Although that does occasionally crash). I love #Waze but it's owned by Google.

Will probably install #osmand at some point which is also fantastic at walking route.

It does suck that the GPS is pretty terrible on this device without the MicroG GPS assistance though.

Whatsapp e Telegram instálalos e funcionan sen problemas. Para Google Maps terás que instalar os Sandboxed GMS, pero tamén é posíbel. Así e todo, tes probado #OrganicMaps ou #OsmAnd?

@doekman goed bezig! Leuke blog, zeg ik als enthousiaste #fietser Zoals het nu staat gaan we proef fietskamperen 😊en afhankelijk van het weer begin september een stukje verder 1 week. Wij maken de routes vaak via #komoot , zelf hebben we allemaal een #wahoo #fietscomputer Begin even wennen want je fietst dan een kruimelpad. Ben ook wel eens met #osmand aan het stoeien. Ook zijn we lid geworden van #vriendenopdefiets kan ook een handige en leuke optie zijn.

Au final, je ne l'utilise pas, mais il existe un plugin pour #OSMAnd qui fourni un autre système de calcul d'itinéraires, #BRouter.

#Navi #GNSS software update - in the end I stuck with #TomTom Go (the paid one), although I did like #OsmAnd and had the paid version its way slower to pick up your vehicle speed from GNSS than TomTom and lacks real time #trafficinfo - whilst #OrganicMaps and #CoMaps still seem to be arguing about how to implement speed display on #AndroidAuto

#TomTom app behaves pretty much exactly like my old standalone navi, its a familiar, usable #UI and has accurate real time speed display plus 3 warning beeps the moment you go over the limit (which is often main reason I want this software, especially in familiar areas where I can navigate without the GNSS (as I grew up having to do this when younger!)
