Ich will doch nicht viel. Ich will einfach nur bei OpenStreetmap im Browser anmelden, ein Lesezeichen setzen, und es auf meinem Android in OSMand~ wieder abrufen können.
Ich tu alles, wirklich!! Ich installiere ein PlugIn für Nextcloud, ich make ein Github Projekt, ich hoste einen service auf meinem Pi, aber lasst mich doch bitte ENDLICH einen Anflug von Moderne mit OpernStreetMap erleben.

Warum sagt #OsmAnd, das ich bei geradeaus auch die Links Abbiegespur nehmen kann? In OSM konnte ich keinen Fehler finden.

Ahh, Lösung ist vermutlich, dass die neuen #NRW Karten in #Osmand #Kartenverwaltung nur unter "andere Karten" zu finden sind (weit nach unten scrollen) und nicht mehr unter "Regionen" -> "Europa" ...

Hat noch wer ein Problem mit #Osmand?
Die große #NRW-#Karte ist nicht mehr installierbar, also die Details für alle Regionen in NRW. Ich habe "Regierungsbezirk Arnsberg", was für Teile NRWs Details anzeigt. Manche anderen Regierungsbezirke finde ich aber nicht in der Suche der Kartenverwaltung, und Download wird mir beim Rauszoomen und Tip auf fehlende Region auch nicht angezeigt...

Seit wann sortiert #OsmAnd Ergebnisse nicht mehr nach Entfernung?
Ganz arg fällt mir das bei Kategorien auf. Wenn ich nach Tankstellen suche, dann wird die nächste nicht ganz oben angezeigt. Nach was wird dann sortiert? -
@moskitokoenig @kuketzblog Ist die absolute Eierlegende Wollmilchsau. Habe ich seit Jahren installiert und jedes Update mitgemacht. Nutze ich aber trotzdem selten. Warum? Die Routenberechnung bei Langstrecken ist leider sehr langsam.

Oh my! Yes, and some folks even tried to navigate while underway, taking their eyes off the road to flip pages. I think I still have at least one collecting dust on a bookshelf but they were indeed indispensable back when :)
Nowadays I'm trying to wean myself from Google Maps and love this newer application that simplifies what #OSMAnd provides. And it's surprisingly simple.
#CoMaps is available at F-Droid and for iPhone users too HERE. I try to use it about 50% of the time and it doesn't disappoint.

Die neue #OsmAnd Version kann u.a. Gebäude in 3D darstellen.

Seit Jahren navigiere ich hochzufrieden mit @osmandapp, in @GrapheneOS und das wird auch so bleiben.
Aber manchmal wären Stauwarnungen wie bei Google Maps doch hilfreich bzw. würden den Tag retten.
Da es keine offenen Verkehrsdaten gibt (?) suchte ich für solche Fälle eine Alternative. Vorläufig bin ich bei #herewego gelandet.Alles ist besser als Ex-"don't be evil"-Google. Oder?

If you are interested in use-case, I’m thinking that e-ink might actually be a great display tech for a sat nav on my motorbike, on the dirt. I use #osmand and can adjust colour of maps to match.
Would be awesome for tulip-style road books. -
