    I’m at it again.

    I’ve got this new ‘Eureka E20 Plus’ vacuum robot hooked to my PC. Installing on it.

    This thing wel never phone home. 😈

    GStreamer can now also run on your robot vacuum!

    After my dustsrc talk during the last GStreamer Conference ( indico.freedesktop.org/event/1 ), the wonderful @Hypfer took it, fixed a couple of bugs, managed to build it into a single executable, turned it into an actual product, and integrated it into Valetudo: github.com/Hypfer/Valetudo/rel

    So, right now, Valetudo can display an mpeg-1-in-mpegTS video stream that comes from your robot vacuum. I'm impressed by the pure-JavaScript demuxing and decoding library, but also by the old CRT look and agingTV-esque effects to indicate signal quality.
