@az @Starcade The #Dow is just a #StockIndex. No index is perfect. Ignore it if you like, most people people, especially those in the business don't. That doesn't mean that people make financial decisions based on it, or any other index but it's an indicator of market sentiment & direction which is all of the "information" that any of the indexes can provide.

Personally, I follow the #SP500. Not because I think it's better than the Dow but mainly because I'm invested in an #EFT that's based on it.
