Do someone knows if there's a way to set export settings like a may poly amount or details in #sdfmodeler ?
Currently you can export to stl and ply.

Modeling the head of my old Moon Child pixel game character, that recently went viral on Bluesky. 🙂

Modeling in SDF 3D is such a delight. You can freely search for just the right shapes, angles, proportions, et cetera, without anything being cemented. 👌

Right now, #MagicaCSG is the most advanced SDF editor (Windows only). There's a free feature-limited demo version, and you can grab the full version via the developer Ephtracy's Patreon (Beta Early Access tier or Prototype tier).

#SDFModeler is the next-best option, with ± 75 percent of MagicaCSG's functionality. It's free, available for Windows, MacOS and Linux, and it is more user-friendly than MagicaCSG.

@vaughan3d Nice! I do notice now that #MagicaCSG needs some SDF normal refinement though, looking at the visible normal seam between the fingertip and the rest of the finger. This is better in #SDFModeler

@ShadowmakerSdR 🙂👍 Good ol' times. But it still happens. An SDF 3D scene file (e.g. from #SDFModeler or #MagicaCSG) is still super-small: an average of 40 KB.
