This webinar will explore #WaldoCounty Bounty’s Give and Take program, a stigma-free model for sharing surplus #GardenProduce through community drop-off sites. Developed during the COVID-19 pandemic to address farm losses and food insecurity in rural Waldo County, #Maine, where nearly 6,000 residents face #FoodInsecurity, the program connects local #gardeners, #farmers, and #neighbors to expand access to healthy, local food.

There’s an app called Tixoom where events can provide tickets for online-only events. I went to their website and couldn’t find a way to search events. When I contacted their help desk, they said there is no way to search for events. This could have been so awesome for folks like me. Ah well. The only thing I can find that lets me search events is EventBrite. I’ve had a few people speak to me disdainfully for using EventBrite. They told me there are other ways to find online events. I’d like to know what those ways are, because I can’t find such a wide variety of advertised events anywhere else. #events #OnlineClasses #OnlineCourses #OnlineWorkshops #SearchFunctionaity #ShutIns #accessibility #apps #eventbrite

Today, two people in the field, whose judgement I take very seriously, told me that I am too far ahead of my time for our region with my workshop ideas. Over the turn of the year, I'm going to give serious thought to completely digitising that too.
