#C64C or #C64mini?
Well, I love the original machine more and together with a #Kungfuflash and a #Blue64 bluetooth receiver for wireless Keyboard and Arcadestick, I have the same capabilities as on the mini.For twinstick games the #Unijoysticle2 is the best solution and it works only on the original C64 and I can have saves on a disk or inside of a CRT file, too.
The mini does not provide both but save states. To finish dificult games with no save option and to faster load floppy games by use of savestates is the big benefit of the mini.
I like both and map keys like F1, Space, etc. on my Arcadestick, which is much better gaming than back in the days😎

Testing #kungfuflash cart playing Bruce Lee. One of our favourite #c64 games growing up. Kind of miss the loading from tape with the text and violin playing. Managed to finish it and then did a "speedrun": 12:53.092 (stopwatch). Any contenders? Worth a play, great game. #retrogaming #kungfu

Now it's time for some BBSing... Right now is behaving correctly: no more spurious resets, and I'm using the #C64 to power it, very conveniently.
I'm using it along with the #KungFuFlash to load #CCGMS , so I'm probably driving the #commodore 's 5v line pretty hard... Until now, I only had a couple of missed boots from the KungFuFlash, probably due to an unstable voltage on turn on. Once it boots, btw, it seems pretty stable. The original power brick may not be having the best time of its life...

Using #kungfuflash on my #c64 I;m trying to save a program to a #D64 disk image, but I can't understand how to do it... I press the menu button, select the and see its content. Then I press F7 to go to basic and the disk is not visible in basic: i cannot format it nor see its contents: it says DEVICE NOT PRESENT ERROR
Anyone can #help?

What fun! I'm copying old 5.25" floppies to D64 images using my cold #C64 and a #Pi1541. Once I have them as D64 images I can use a #KungFuFlash card to load them super quick or into #vice

Shortly after I made my little video about hacking together a Kung Fu Flash cartridge for my C64s, @futurewas8bit sent me a properly produced one from his shop for comparison. Admittedly, although functionally the same, it does look a fair bit neater than my DIY job. My favourite cartridge for the #c64, the #SuperSnapshot v5 is getting a lot of love recently. I replaced the EEPROM of one of the clones I built with a 128kB specimen and flashed Adrian Gonzales' SnappyROM. Now I can also use it with the #SD2IEC. I also updated my #KungFuFlash to the most recent firmware version which can also load the SnappyROM now. I heard rumors about the ROM for a few years and I am happy that it is finally available for everybody now. #retrocomputing
