#C64C or #C64mini?
Well, I love the original machine more and together with a #Kungfuflash and a #Blue64 bluetooth receiver for wireless Keyboard and Arcadestick, I have the same capabilities as on the mini.

For twinstick games the #Unijoysticle2 is the best solution and it works only on the original C64 and I can have saves on a disk or inside of a CRT file, too.

The mini does not provide both but save states. To finish dificult games with no save option and to faster load floppy games by use of savestates is the big benefit of the mini.

I like both and map keys like F1, Space, etc. on my Arcadestick, which is much better gaming than back in the days😎

The wireless keyboard works nice with the #C64 mini, so I should play #DallasQuest again😉

I have a #Blue64 in my #C64C, so I could play it there sitting on the Sofa but the loading time from the #SD2IEC takes so much longer than loading the Savestate on the #C64mini🤔

BTW, you can't shoot Sue Ellen😂

Heatsinks were put on the 3 chips which used the shielding for this purpose and the shielding was removed.

Soon my #Blue64 adapter will arrive to have an internal bluetooth receiver in my #C64C for a wireless keyboard and my wireless joystick.

Keymapping on my joystick is already planned:
Fire = A, Jump = B
Space = X, Autofire = Y
F1 - F7 = Shoulder buttons

Select could take another key🤔

The switch Xinput/Dinput will change registering between internal Blue-64 and external #Unijoysticle2 😎

The day was a complete success. My father had his own little journey through time. First we loaded Rainbow Island from the floppy and then played Wheel of Fortune for a while. During the course of the day my father cooked and while we were eating we watched an old episode of Wheel of Fortune and talked about the good old days.

My #sd2iec arrived today, I set it up and tested it straight away. My early version of the #c64c actually still has the original #sidchip in it and it actually still works just like my Joyboard controller. Unfortunately you have to twist it downwards but that's ok. Unfortunately my seriell cable still needs a bit of work but then it's actually done.

Update on #C64 purchases: The #floppydrive #1541ii & the #BubbleBobbleCollection have arrived. However, the drive was missing the data cable, so I couldn't connect the drive to the #c64c & had to order a new cable for €10.
