I'm enjoying the recently added Mozilla RPM repository that includes Firefox Beta. Using it on Fedora.
I use both the Firefox and Thunderbird Betas. Both are very stable. I've used them for years. OTOH, I wouldn't do the nightlies, unless you're into that.
Nightlies are a step riskier than betas.

Ich muss bei meinem #Chromebook den #Browser auswechseln, da ja #Ublock deaktiviert wurde. Muss sagen #FirefoxBeta ist schlimm. Videos zB auf tagesschau.de oder youtube werden random angehalten und ich muss wieder play drücken. Und das bekannte Problem, dass Keyboard Shortcuts von Firefox aus irgendeinem Grund nicht funktionieren. Insgesamt wirkt #Firefox langsam, anders als auf dem Desktop oder Tablet.

TIL that with #FirefoxBeta now having jumped to v111, it has inherited #FirefoxNightly's Wayland-autodetection, such that in a Wayland session, to launch Beta as a full-W app, not merely an Xwayland one, you no longer need to use the prefacing `MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1` environmental variable in your command launcher. Nightly has had this for *several* versions, & my only surprise is that it's taken this long for it to flow down to Beta.

Both these work fine in Wayland; #Firefox & #FirefoxNightly [ie, reliably, on launch in Plasma Wayland sessions, without any manual user intervention then needed, both these browsers correctly are stripped of their window decorations & titlebars].
Otoh, this fails 100% of the time; #FirefoxBeta [ie, this browser always still retains window decoration & titlebar in Plasma Wayland].
Any gurus here know why, pls? 🤷♀️

Bis jetzt habe ich unter #Android , aus Bequemlichkeit und Gewohnheit, immer #Chrome genutzt. Jetzt ist ja die Duet Funktion weggefallen und das ist bei so großen Displays einfach nicht schön. Welche Browser nutzt ihr denn unter Android? Ich schwanke zwischen #SamsungInternet , #Brave und #FirefoxBeta .
