I've been talking to a friend about #Thief, and I brought up #TheDarkMod at some point. Thought I'd recommend it here too.

It's Thief but implemented in Doom 3's engine. It plays every bit like Thief, but has nicer lighting and physics. It consists entirely of custom maps, so quality of levels can vary, but there are some real gems in there. Haven't played it myself in a while, maybe I should revisit it some time.

I was trying to install The Dark Mod https://www.thedarkmod.com/main/ on my Steam Deck and kept getting some weird error from the installer.

Going to have to hook up a keyboard/mouse for this so the on-screen keyboard and touchpads don't drive me nuts.
