Deliciously cheeseable combat and fun, interesting characters often left me surprised by the amount of time passed after a play session.

I'll get back to it and try to play it again soon - but the hardest thing to accept about Baldur's Gate 3 is that it's called Baldur's Gate 3. If it had any other name, it might be easier to accept that it's not RTWP combat.

Been thinking on this as I replayed Baldur's Gate 1 recently (and currently playing through Pillars of Eternity again).

I hate BG3, I'm finally playing it from the start to the end (always somehow got stuck in the first twenty hours before) and it's so good I once again went to sleep at 3 AM, because I couldn't go before I finished Shadowheart's questline in act 3. Now awake, I'm still slightly crying thinking about the little things in the quest as a whole. And spoiler alert, I didn't expect to hear Abigail Thorn in a really small but impactful role, her character fits so well into the narrative surrounding Shadowheart.
