Current #Proton exit plan:
- Calendar ➡️ #Nextcloud (#Fossify Calendar via #Davx5 on Android) ✅
- Contacts ➡️ Nextcloud (Native #GrapheneOS app via Davx5 on Android) ✅
- Drive ➡️ Nextcloud ✅
- VPN ➡️ #MullvadVPN ✅
- Email ➡️ #Tuta (already have an account and aliases created short-term) - may look elsewhere for long-term 🟠
- Passwords ➡️ Looking at Nextcloud implementation but also #Bitwarden 🟠
9 days left to the #YenMigration
Things moving quickly on the #YenMigration from Proton.
Having a free trial run with Nextcloud. Contacts and calendar syncs on GrapheneOS with DavX5 - as does the Drive and Notes. Photo uploading occurs as I use my camera. All related apps are FOSS and downloaded with Obtainium.
Nextcloud syncing on my Linux laptop is seamless.
Still umm-ing and ahh-ing about email going forward though...
