A good thing about getting better with dealing with Linux in general, I remembered how to 'enable' a service so that it creates a symlink that will start after every reboot! I had Mullvad VPN installed but forgot to configure it properly by enabling the "mullvad-daemon.service". The Garuda Konsole is configured to pull up commands commonly used together. This jogged my memory pretty quickly, Garuda Linux is going to become my new Ubuntu, something that I loved for so long.
LOL I got used in the habit of using Wireguard configs. It's nice to make things easy on one's self!

#RethinkDNS (aktuelle Version)bereitet aktuell nur #Probleme. Die ursprünglich funktionierende #Konfiguration über #Wireguard ( #MullvadVPN ) weist fortwährend #Leaks auf. Das war bisher so nicht der Fall.
Ein #Downgrade auf Version N - die bei mir früher anstandslos lief - scheitert in jeglichem Versuch, da selbst die Originaldatei als ungültig angesehen wird.
Frühere Versionen vor O gibt es nur noch auf der Webseite. Und selbst diese wird als ungültig gewertet. Ich bin ratlos. Und es ist auch enttäuschend.

Nice! @mullvadnet for Android now supports #Wireguard over #QUIC as a method for censorship prevention.
This makes #Obscura obsolete, an odd Apple-only service (https://obscura.net)
Also nice that #QuantumResistant tunnels are enabled by default.
But PLEASE use the native Wireguard implementation "pre-shared key" instead of some custom one. This will enable everyone to avoid the Electron app which also doesnt work on all systems (liken #NixOS currently)

If you believe a stupid VPN service is the answer; think again. They'll block VPNs too. they'll take everything... especially as long as people keep staying silent and NOT reacting - rather saying "it doesn't affect me so I don't care"... these are the earlier steps of a Global Dictatorship. It will affect ALL of you. And VPN is not the answer to it.

Für eigene Verbindungen die offizielle #Wireguard app verwenden. Alternativ evtl kleinere Projekte wie #WGTunnel https://github.com/zaneschepke/wgtunnel oder #RethinkDNS (was noch viel mehr kann). OpenVPN auch okay.
Alles andere ist Schwachsinn, Firmen sollen aufhören irgendwelche komischen proprietären Anwendungen zu nutzen.

I'm going to run some tests next week.
According to battery usage in GrapheneOS, the Mullvad VPN app uses much more battery than the Wireguard app.
My first feeling tells me the same, but I'm going to have to do some more accurate tests.
Strange if true though because both is wireguard protocol.
