Fan translation for obscure N64 RPG Zool - Majyū Charmer Legend, by Zoinkity, whowasphone404, & Gabbu Hetchy. No, it's no Pokémon clone: no evolution, no catch 'em all. The 1999 monster-tamer splits cursor-navigated towns and battles, with found family. 59k words translated, requiring custom debug tools. Preservation win. https://pocg.net/news/fan-translation-zool-n64-english-2026/ #RetroGaming #N64 #FanTranslation #GamePreservation

That's some #MSX #retroGaming news that flew under the radar for me: https://www.msx.org/news/en/project-melancholia-sd-snatcher-english-patch-now-available-for-free-download
The high quality #English #fanTranslation #patch of #Konami's #SDSnatcher #RPG for the #MSX2, dubbed #ProjectMelancholia, is now available for #free as in #gratis from https://www.project-melancholia.org/downloads.html
The game, which was one of Konami's last #games for the MSX #homecomputer platform, was officially only released in #Japanese (though official translations do exist for other platforms), in #1988.
