Remembered I still have my old ps1. Settled on a plan to purchase an old TV. Preferably with a built in VHS player. Then I can let my kids play some of the games I played. No internet connection, no predatory stores and no elaborate settings menus. Just playing games. Might even purchase a few old X-Files tapes to watch by myself. I might even try to buy a #sega #dreamcast at some point. I never owned one of those. #retrogaming #retrotech #playstation

Together, the two plan to make the perfect dream woman come true using a computer while hacking a government computer system. As it is loosely based on the Weird Science series of EC Comics, the film was a notable product of its time and it remains a memorable part of 1980s Hollywood cinema. #5 Sega’s F355 Challenge Revisited – During a visit to Gameworx inside Festival Mall in 1999, I saw the arcade game F355 Challenge from Sega. After marveling at its graphics during the first several minutes, I bought arcade tokens to play it. To my surprise, F355 Challenge was a racing simulation as it was designed with in-depth driving realism in mind. Yu Suzuki (Virtua Fighter) was the man who produced and directed the game, and in my opinion F355 Challenge has to be played in its original arcade form while the Sega Dreamcast port is the alternative. #6 Penalties On Littering At Shibuya – Shibuya is one of the most lively urban spots in Japan. Located in Tokyo, is a special ward where visitors can enjoy the immense commercial joints and it is now the premiere hub for youth culture. Sadly, as Japan is attracting tens of millions of foreign tourists each year, littering at Shibuya has gone up tremendously. I cannot forget the time when a classmate of mine got so scared watching it. The Bees is a Mexican production that had the late John Saxon in a major role. Managed to successfully play a game of #Quake online on #SEGA #Dreamcast. Got 3 kills and a suicide, the other two players had about 59-60 kills 😅. Was also able to connect to Bomberman Online but no one was playing. So far I’m unable to make a connection with Propeller Arena.

Getting this thing online isn’t the easiest thing though. Need to restart Dreampi, disconnect the line voltage simulator before I can connect again.

Managed to successfully play a game of #Quake online on #SEGA #Dreamcast. Got 3 kills and a suicide, the other two players had about 59-60 kills 😅. Was also able to connect to Bomberman Online but no one was playing. So far I’m unable to make a connection with Propeller Arena.

Yay, My #SEGA #Dreamcast is connecting again. But it seems I need to restart everything between every connection and remove the line voltage simulator when booting up the Dreampi. So, Dreampi should be ready first, then connect the line voltage simulator and then connect the Dreamcast.

Not sure yet if this is foolproof, but at least there's some progress.

Mondial Relay is the most terrible shipping company! Now that that’s out of the way: I finally managed to receive my line voltage simulator so my #SEGA #Dreamcast is finally online again! Installed #Dreampi on my old first gen B model #RaspberryPi, found the required USB modem and bought the line voltage simulator from Dragoncity in France. First try and it worked straight away!

This is so cool to finally be able to play online again with the DC.
