This one definitely piqued my interest because it clearly takes some inspiration from #ShiningForce however, it still has a ways to go.
While it has a decent HD 2D engine and the music and writing is promising, the whole thing just feels a bit janky. The gameplay is bare Bones and the character graphics and portraits a bit simple.
There is a lot of potential here. With some serious polish, this game could be a true gem.

I played through Shining Force 2. While the battles were just fine, this game felt like it was lesser than Shining Force, somehow, all the while having too many battles across the entire game. 43 is too many for one game on a single playthrough. It doesn't make it feel like an epic and large adventure. It makes it feel like a bit of a slog.
