Has anyone able to change a font on #krita 6.0.1? Before, I couldn't open the dropdown menu. Now I can see my fonts, but cannot change the font of the text by selecting any of the fonts.

Alors, on retourne tester Sway avec Endeavour OS! 🐧 💜
Mon experience pour les prochaines soirees sera de prendre les elements de sway et de les placer pour labwc afin d'avoir un systeme similaire mais sans utiliser des tuiles. Je garde Sway quand meme pour basculer en mode "tuiles" au besoin 🤓 .
L'image de droite est une image de reference car labwc tout nu tout nu, pas be bas, ca ressemble a ca!
Je rajoute un clavier francais aussi! 😉

Und ja, man kann das Terminal auch per Shortcut auf- und zumachen. Popup statt Dropdown.
Ich hatte schon hässlichere Desktops. 🙃
Hauptgrund für Plasma für mich: Vernünftige Skalierung und gutes Fontrendering unter Wayland (das ich nicht leiden kann).

I had been using XFCE as my desktop on EndeavourOS. I switched to Cinnamon after having some issues with XFCE (I believe tied to Nvidia drivers). I swear to god the #Linux #gaming challenge on #LTT, with Linus specifically, will always be cursed lololol. Linus picking #popOS (on ideal #AMD hardware) and experiencing so many issues I have never, ever seen or experienced on something like #EndeavourOS for yeaaaars now without any special configuration or wtv (on #NVIDIA even) genuinely reinforces my opinion (backed by experience) that #ArchLinux based distros (minus vanilla Arch or #Manjaro) is always somehow the better, more user-friendly experience for #Windows users or gamers in general. Seriously. #Ubuntu (perhaps even #Debian) based distros just ain't it, most of the time (for these users). There's a reason the most popular gaming distros rn are both based on Arch, #Valve 's #SteamOS and the 'hot' distro atm, #CachyOS.

@phillo I'd like to keep the LTS kernel. The current behaviour is the #EndeavourOS default but I don't understand why it the exactly is the reverse order of the #GRUB defaults. 😅
I just want that behaviour in #systemdboot.

I'm super excited to switch over to #KDE 's brand new #Plasma Login Manager, whenever #EndeavourOS chooses to support it officially - which they've said to be in the near future. #SDDM has been pretty broken/meh for me for some time now, sometime after Plasma 6 update or so.

Zaczął siadać mi starszy z monitorów i musiałem coś z tym zrobić.
Zdecydowałem się na zmianę obu(przy okazji zmieniłem producenta z Philipsa na Iiyamę), na biurku wylądował UWQHD(z dokiem USB-C i kamerką) oraz WQHD, przy okazji zrezygnąwałem z ramienia na monitory.
Efektem nie do końca zamierzonym była redukcja ilości kabli na biurku o jakieś 80%... -
Installed Niri on my Endeavour OS, along the Noctalia shell (from git). It's ok, but it's missing lots of things, like showing which keyb language is active, or setting up when the machine should sleep etc. Also, it thinks I'm in Tokyo... Other than that, it looks cool. But I gotta say, I'm not so keen on tiling window managers, although I use them from time to time.

Windows is gone!
I finally got #Windows 11 nuked from my system, along with every other OS I had installed: #Bazzite & #CachyOS.
I've gone back to #EndeavourOS, as it's my preferred #Archlinux flavour.
I also took the time this morning to organise my storage drives, so now I have 3 drives:
1tb: EndeavourOS boot and root partitions installed.
4tb: EndeavourOS /home partition
4tb: Storage drive for everything else9tb of drive space and one dedicated OS. Disk space should not be an issue any time soon.
Just re-installing #WorldOfWarcraft now, and I've got #Steam, #Heroic Launcher, #Faugus and #Lutris all installed.
Got #Bazaar installed for handling flatpaks (every gaming launcher above bar Steam), which I prefer these days for application installs, in an effort to keep my system tidy.
Very streamlined and bare-bones, and I'm only installing the applications I absolutely need.
Just hope #WoW runs ok...

I ran a full upgrade on my desktop workstation (EndeavourOS, which is based on Arch). One of the upgraded packages was nvidia-open-dkms. After the upgrade was complete, applications were flickering on my desktop. The same thing happened last week (I fixed with a “downgrade”). I decided that I did not want to downgrade again, so I investigated. Some posts in the EndeavourOS forum indicated that the issue was particular to XFCE. I decided to try a different desktop environment, preferably one I could set up quickly to go with my workflow and one that would not come with a whole slate of stuff I do not need. I landed on Cinnamon. I had only used Cinnamon for about 10 minutes before, but it works well (no flickering) and I configured some of my shortcuts from XFCE. It will do.
