Question eOS, ou Android j'en sais trop rien. J'ai désactivé le correcteur orthographique dans les paramètres mais en fait ça me corrige toujours. Il y a des menus cachés par application ? Une formule magique à prononcer un soir de pleine lune ?
C'est soûlant quand j'écris "re" et qu'il corrige en "le" 👿
Le repartage éloigne la canicule.

Mein Fairphone 3 geht im August aus dem Support. (Was ich ziemlich doof finde, weil es dem Anspruch des Unternehmens zuwiderläuft, lange Nutzungszeiten zu ermöglichen.) In einer Mail heißt es, ich könne ja ein alternatives Betriebssystem nutzen. Weiß hier jemand was dazu und kann einem Laien Tipps geben?

@ilumium @Fairphone Looks more like a thing where Apple forced providers to support that, not sure if thats feasible without them.
What brings me to the point: which interest has a provider to support that? They are selling this data for traffic measurement for example.Maybe #fairphone #grapheneOS Bubble has a clue on that?

Just updated my Fairphone 5 ArchLinux packages to the latest call audio kernel/ucm/q6voiced versions and I'm happy to confirm call audio now seems to work out of the box without major issues.
Thanks to the work done by @valpackett, the bottom speaker is no longer firing for me during calls (producing an echo). That was my last known issue.
Hopefully this can be upstreamed to #postmarketOS soon, I think people are going to enjoy this.

My phone, a cheap and (for 6 years) reliable Samsung, is starting to get a bit flaky. So, options buying outright, which I prefer: #Samsung again? Nope, trying to cram "AI" into everything. Ditto #Apple, and all the major manufacturers.
#Fairphone, on the other hand, AI/Android free version available, decent hardware for the money (~£500), and most impressively designed for self-repair/upgrade. New screen? £77. New battery? £35. Both replaceable in 5 mins with one screwdriver. -

Brief reminder of this ⬆️ testing option of Android 16 for the FP3 – I was able to install it on a spare FP3 (previously on /e/OS Android 15 community 3.7.1) myself today – while the same installation on another FP3 (coming from Fairphone's latest Android OS Android 13) would not boot. /u
