My new #Murena #Fairphone is not working. I'm feeling sad about it. First of all, the new E sim is not working and I'm not getting calls or messages. Second of all, The speaker is terrible. Third of all, I can't swipe text unless I download a Google keyboard. Fourth of all, comma. This phone is not degooed. I think that's actually false advertising because The apps depend on something they call micro G and they send reports to Google about this or that, which I disabled and that might be why I'm not getting messages or calls. I'm not giving up yet, but they should have should have been ashamed of this speaker. And this is the sixth version. They already got feedback about how terrible it sounds.Finally, I signed up for for their mobile plan and it comes through T Mobile! I haven't escaped at all. I've just imprisoned myself. in low quality sound.

It really feels like recent developments have brung us tantalizingly close to a real, daily driver, early enthusiast, honest to goodness Mobile Linux working phone. Regularly seeing audio and camera issues squashed.
Also, is it just me, or does the Fairphone 5 seem to be becoming the new, more powerful replacement for the venerable OnePlus 6T as one of the best supported phones?

So hundreds of millions devices can be #reused for many more years. #Citronics and #Fairphone as one example.

I just heard about the #Fairphone #fairbuds. They do sound great with their repairability and all but it's a bit dissapointing they don't use #MMCX connectors.
I would love to have a more repairable version of the #Shure #TrueWirelessAdapter. You can almost replace almost the same amount of parts with Shure but to be able to replace accu-battery
