Verwendet hier jemand Murenas Custom-ROM / #e_OS? Dann habe ich etwas für euch. Falls ihr es noch nicht wisst: Es gibt jetzt eine ehemalige Premium-Funktion (was auch immer das bedeuten soll) für alle /e/OS-Nutzer:innen. Nämlich Voice to Text (VtT). Murena beschreibt es so:

Ich habe ein Handy mit /e/ OS von #Murena. Die normale App der #Sparkasse funktioniert problemlos. Die App #MobilesBezahlen der Sparkasse lief zwar auch, aber beim Hinzufügen einer Bankkarte kam dann ein "unbekannter Fehler".

Lösung: Die Bank muss den "Fraud Shield" deaktivieren, bis die Karte erfolgreich hinzugefügt ist.

Klingt einfach, hat aber drei Jahre gedauert, bis der Zusammenhang klar wurde.

Having mixed feelings about how my country and my phone does cellular emergency alerts. On the one hand, it is useful, I wan't to know. On the other hand, I don't want to be woken up by blarg worse than firealarm for events that do not require evaluation or urgent action for someone at home. For example, orange (not red!) warning about strong rain. My phone is Android, /e/OS 4.1.1. I see only setting option to completely turn off... are there some tools, apps out there? #android #eOS #Murena

Merci pour l'article. En gros, dans les deux cas, il faut être un peu bidouilleur pour l'installation. Pour rendre ça plus accessible, existe-t-il des install party de ces OS ? Je connais plus d'une personne qui serait heureuse de passer le pas mais ne le fera jamais toute seule. Si non, ça mériterait d'être développé.

Installed #e os from #murena on an old xiaomi phone, just to test the waters. So far very happy! My banking apps seem to do the trick, and everything else seems to work just fine as well. Think I'll stick with this phone for the time being until it dies a natural death, at which point I'll simply repeat the process with my fairphone 5!

Wow, Murena hat mit dem Update auf /e/os/ 4.1.1. mal eben das Backup kaputtgemacht.

Bisherige App ganz leise durch eine andere ersetzt. Statt lokalem Speicher jetzt nur noch Murena-Cloud.

Kein Warnhinweis, dass man die alten Backups nicht mehr aufrufen kann, keine Aufforderung das Backup neu zu konfigurieren.

SO habe ich mir nicht Google-freies Betriebssystem vorgestellt.

Ich sag es mal so.. dieses /e/OS Update 4.1.1 ist schon nervig.
Ich nutze den Murena Workspace schon sehr gerne. Und die einzige App, die da noch synchronisiert ist die Fotogallerie.

Mails wären nett, tut aber nicht mehr. Notizen nutze ich extrem häufig. Ich hab da jetzt einen unterschiedlichen Stand zwischen der App und dem Workspace.

Ich muss mir jetzt gerade angewöhnen regelmäßig über den Workspace nach Mails zu schauen und nicht auf die Benachrichtigung der App vertrauen.
