My thoughts :
We should all have the autonomy to decide when it's time, and to die with dignity. Society is far more merciful to animals than to humans in that regard. I don't understand why some faith-based institutions/religions try to block MAID for total strangers who don't share their beliefs. (Same with abortion). Let people decide for themselves. I wish this gracious lady and her family all of the best. -

I'm not sure how I feel about Governments mandating individual rights in general, but in this case, I'm satisfied to have the state somewhat protect an individual's right to their own physical autonomy. I question gov't setting ANY conditions, just to appease religion.
