  1. #DH2025: #CLS is everywhere! In SP-09, Allison Anne Keith, Antonio Rojas Castro, et al. present their approach to using #ComputationalMethods to examine, how annotated #gracioso characters can help us understand their structural and narrative role in #Calderón's plays.

  6. long overdue, but here is a short #introduction - powered by my new year resolution to use mastodon (more).

I am a PhD student in communication science in the CCL Lab (U. Vienna) working on #computationalmethods. As part of digitize! (digitize-transformation.at/en/) I work on validating automated text analysis techniques (mostly #topicmodels) and how we can use semantic spaces to study #politicalcommunication.

  7. REMINDER: Together, Christopher K. Frantz (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) and myself are inviting researchers interested in a computational take on institutions to submit to our method- and data-agnostic panel “Leveraging computational methods to decode institutions -- implementing computer science methods to study commons” at the #IASC conference 2023.
