Here's the latest variant picture for Australia:
The BA.5.* lineages continue to fade, down to 57% of recent samples.
There's continued recent growth from the BA.2.75.* lineages (16%) - the leading challenger. BQ.* lineages also continue to grow steadily (15%).
Recent sample sizes are smaller. Unusually, recent samples have been shared by most states - details below. This rebalancing gives rise to what I think of as the "Tenet Effect" - some lineages appear to shrink in frequency (compared to my prior snapshots), as the mix of samples changes.
