@gocu54 @Pawpower Awesome indeed. Yesterday I had a conversation with an older lady at church who told me about a friend of hers who went blind in her 60s due to macular degeneration. They refused to learn Braille, refused to learn how to use a cane correctly, the whole 9.5 yards, and now they just sit in a chair listening to the radio and BARD books. I wish I could say this was an isolated case, but I hear a similar version of this story way too often. And there are some, even in the blind community, who say #BRL is outmoded and no longer needed. #Bullshit
