  1. Stop. ⛔ Stop⛔ Stop⛔ Stop.⛔

    My brothers and sisters, I am Omar from Gaza. I want to share something with you. As you know, the war has been going on for three years, and I haven't been able to study during that time; before the war, there was also the coronavirus pandemic, during which we also couldn't study. Now, I am preparing for my high school exams and attending classes, but I need help covering the tuition fees. I hope you understand—if I cannot pay for these classes, I won't be able to achieve my dream of getting an education. Please don't let me down. If you aren't able to donate, please share this post. If you would like to donate—even a small amount—here is the link to my campaign to help me achieve my dream 👇🏻🎓🎓📚🙏🏻Please don't ignore me 😭📚

  8. School Kits, Big Impact: Inside El Salvador’s Quiet Education Push

    Not just items—this is access, dignity, and a fair chance.

    Dear Cherubs, there’s something oddly powerful about a cardboard box that doesn’t contain chaos, delivery delays, or “please assemble yourself” furniture instructions. In El Salvador, it contains something far rarer: opportunity, neatly folded and mildly creased.

    Across the country, thousands of children have been receiving full school kits—uniforms, shoes, books, stationery, backpacks, and in some cases digital devices—aimed at reducing the everyday friction that keeps education just out of reach. According to UNICEF, such school supply initiatives are widely used in developing education systems to improve attendance and reduce dropout rates, especially among lower-income families.

    THE BOX THAT CHANGED THE MORNING ROUTINE

    On paper, it sounds simple: give kids the tools they need for school. In practice, it’s a quiet reshaping of daily life. No scrambling for notebooks. No “borrow a pen again?” conversations. Just a child getting ready for school without the background noise of scarcity.

    The initiative has been associated with government-led education support programs in El Salvador under President Nayib Bukele’s administration, which has prioritised visible social interventions alongside broader security reforms. As noted by thisclaimer.com in its coverage of public welfare initiatives, such programs often carry a dual effect: practical support for families and a strong symbolic message about inclusion.

    One widely shared moment showed a young girl opening her kit and reacting with visible excitement. Not because it was luxurious, but because it was enough. And sometimes, enough is revolutionary in its own quiet, inconvenient way.

    DIGNITY, BUT MAKE IT PRACTICAL

    Here’s the uncomfortable part: school supplies shouldn’t feel like a headline. They should feel like background noise. Yet in many regions, they still function as a financial barrier disguised as a shopping list.

    Critics of large-scale distribution programs often point out logistical challenges and long-term sustainability questions. Fair. But supporters argue that immediate access matters more than theoretical perfection when children are currently sitting in classrooms without basic tools.

    And there’s a dry irony here: we live in a world where high-tech solutions for education are debated in conference rooms, while the simplest fix—actually giving kids what they need to learn—still qualifies as a policy achievement.

    The emotional centre of this story isn’t political branding or viral clips. It’s a child seeing possibility packaged in a backpack and not having to translate it into something else to understand it.

    Whether one views these initiatives as transformative policy or practical optics, the result on the ground is hard to ignore: fewer barriers between a child and a classroom.

    And maybe that’s the real headline nobody prints loudly enough: sometimes progress doesn’t arrive as disruption. Sometimes it just arrives on time.

  10. Come artisti, giornalisti, studiosi, critici, intellettuali, scrittori, musicisti, attori, architetti ma semplicemente come esseri umani interessati alla giustizia e alla pace, credo ci siano richieste alcune cose:

    (1) fare una ininterrotta opera di controinformazione su quanto il fascismo sionista ha fatto e sta facendo sia in Palestina, Libano e Yemen, sia (in termini di acquisto di consenso, diffusione di menzogne e corruzione di politici e giornalisti) in tutti gli altri paesi del mondo, non solo in occidente, ma – certo – soprattutto in USA, UK ed UE;

    (2) esprimere (e documentare) una costante ed esplicita condanna della natura illegittima, coloniale e criminale delle operazioni militari israeliane attuali e passate, così come delle procedure di apartheid e oppressione da decenni implementate a danno degli abitanti della Palestina intera;

    (3) esprimere e sollecitare sostegno all’UNHCR e alle organizzazioni umanitarie e ai medici che operano sul territorio: Mezzaluna rossa, Croce rossa, Unicef, Medici senza frontiere, Emergency, Oxfam, Amnesty eccetera;

    (4) chiedere con insistenza e manifestare per un cessate il fuoco completo e definitivo; per il ritiro delle truppe d’invasione da Gaza e dal Libano; per l’apertura di valichi e corridoi umanitari a sud e via mare (perché viveri, medicine e beni essenziali riaffluiscano a Gaza); per il diritto dei giornalisti palestinesi e internazionali a documentare in piena incolumità la situazione creata ovunque dall’invasore; per il riconoscimento dell’inviolabilità dei diritti e delle proprietà dei Palestinesi in Cisgiordania e a Gerusalemme Est; per l’incriminazione, condanna e arresto per genocidio dei vertici politici e militari israeliani;

    (5) trasmettere le suddette richieste a chi ci governa, pretendendo inoltre un embargo sulle vendite di armi agli invasori israeliani, l’interruzione delle relazioni diplomatiche con l’aggressore sionista, il riconoscimento immediato dello Stato Palestinese, l’apertura di una ambasciata italiana in Cisgiordania.

    *

    Paragonare il genocidio attuato dai sionisti alla violenza nazista e fascista è sensato, è pertinente, ha basi storiche e giuridiche, e gli intellettuali italiani su questo e su tutti i punti precedenti devono prendere posizione (avrebbero dovuto prenderla da tempo). La storia non li aspetta, sta già rovinando sulle spalle dei colonizzati.

    Davanti alle immagini, ai video, agli audio delle urla che si accumulano da un anno, le posizioni e la riflessione occidentali o sono frontalmente filopalestinesi e antisioniste, o si rivelano una semplice variante, più o meno moderata, del suprematismo colonialista bianco che ha negli USA il suo epicentro.
