    My brothers and sisters, I am Omar from Gaza. I want to share something with you. As you know, the war has been going on for three years, and I haven't been able to study during that time; before the war, there was also the coronavirus pandemic, during which we also couldn't study. Now, I am preparing for my high school exams and attending classes, but I need help covering the tuition fees. I hope you understand—if I cannot pay for these classes, I won't be able to achieve my dream of getting an education. Please don't let me down. If you aren't able to donate, please share this post. If you would like to donate—even a small amount—here is the link to my campaign to help me achieve my dream 👇🏻🎓🎓📚🙏🏻Please don't ignore me 😭📚

  6. 🫟 𝑪𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒔 🫟

–sn–

  13. The crime of the crimes funded by #USA, #EU, #UK and executed by #zionazis continues:

    The humanitarian crisis continues to deepen. The Gaza Ministry of Health announced the deaths of seven people in a single day—including one child—due to #famine and malnutrition. This raises the total death toll from #starvation to 411, among them 142 children.
    palestinechronicle.com/gaza-ho

    “The percentage of children identified as acutely malnourished in screenings across Gaza increased to 13.5% in August, from 8.3% in July,” a statement by #UNICEF said, adding that “in Gaza City, where famine was confirmed last month, the percentage of children admitted with malnutrition was even higher, at 19%, up from 16% in July.”

    The statement also included “fewer children were screened overall in August due to 10 outpatient treatment centers recently closed in #Gaza City and North Gaza,” as a result of Israel’s repeated evacuation orders and ongoing attacks.

  14. 'A despicable disgrace': #BobGeldof condemns #Israel over #Gaza hunger

    Updated / Friday, 25 Jul 2025

    "#LiveAid founder Bob Geldof has condemned the Israeli government's role in the Gaza crisis, calling it 'a despicable disgrace' and saying it is deliberately #StarvingChildren.

    " 'Their government is clearly out of control, and their army probably as well… It is a despicable disgrace. And for the Israeli people to allow this in their name is a despicable disgrace,' he told Prime Time.

    " 'It is so utterly bizarre that we're talking about #Israel, given the horror of their own past. It is bewildering to me,' he said.

    " 'I was the founding patron of the #AegisTrust for #GenocideStudies, which is a branch of the British National #HolocaustMuseum. I spent many times with the survivors of the #Holocaust' he told presenter Miriam O’Callaghan, 'were they alive now? They would possibly die of shame. The shame of this, Miriam, the shame for Israel... This is unconscionable.'

    "His comments come amid escalating warnings from UN agencies about catastrophic levels of #starvation in Gaza.

    "Earlier, Louise Wateridge, a senior emergency officer with #UNRWA, described the situation on the ground as 'completely unbearable,' with people stepping over bodies at aid centres in desperate searches for food.

    "She said more than 6,000 aid trucks - half carrying essential food and medical supplies - are currently blocked just outside Gaza by Israeli restrictions.

    "#UNICEF also warned that ongoing bombardment and mass displacement have rendered large parts of Gaza inaccessible for #humanitarian operations, with basic health and nutrition services near collapse.

    "Mr Geldof appeared on Prime Time after a report featuring footage and images taken in recent days of #malnourished and hungry children in Gaza.

    "In the report, #Oxfam aid worker #BushraKhalidi described the actions of Israel as '#CollectivePunishment,' while #CarolineWilleman of #DoctorWithoutBorders, speaking from northern Gaza, told Prime Time that she had never witnessed anything like what she was seeing currently during her career.

    "She described how #Palestinian colleagues who are caring for sick and dying children are themselves unable to feed themselves or their own children.

    " 'We are witnessing a #genocide,' Ms Willeman said, 'we are witnessing a genocide because we are witnessing people from whom food is being upheld, from whom water is being upheld.'

    " 'It literally is beyond our comprehension. Look at your face, look at the aid workers there,' Mr Geldof said, 'What are we living in? I cannot look at those pictures. Obviously, they remind me of 1984, but in completely different circumstances.'

    "Between 1983 and 1985 a major #famine erupted in #Ethiopia as a result of #drought and conflict. Footage in the news media drove Mr Geldof and #MidgeUre to found #BandAid in 1984 to raise funds for #FamineRelief initiatives.

    "A year later, Live Aid, a two-event concert performed simultaneously in the UK and US was held. It featured some of the most famous music acts in the world at the time."

  15. Come artisti, giornalisti, studiosi, critici, intellettuali, scrittori, musicisti, attori, architetti ma semplicemente come esseri umani interessati alla giustizia e alla pace, credo ci siano richieste alcune cose:

    (1) fare una ininterrotta opera di controinformazione su quanto il fascismo sionista ha fatto e sta facendo sia in Palestina, Libano e Yemen, sia (in termini di acquisto di consenso, diffusione di menzogne e corruzione di politici e giornalisti) in tutti gli altri paesi del mondo, non solo in occidente, ma – certo – soprattutto in USA, UK ed UE;

    (2) esprimere (e documentare) una costante ed esplicita condanna della natura illegittima, coloniale e criminale delle operazioni militari israeliane attuali e passate, così come delle procedure di apartheid e oppressione da decenni implementate a danno degli abitanti della Palestina intera;

    (3) esprimere e sollecitare sostegno all’UNHCR e alle organizzazioni umanitarie e ai medici che operano sul territorio: Mezzaluna rossa, Croce rossa, Unicef, Medici senza frontiere, Emergency, Oxfam, Amnesty eccetera;

    (4) chiedere con insistenza e manifestare per un cessate il fuoco completo e definitivo; per il ritiro delle truppe d’invasione da Gaza e dal Libano; per l’apertura di valichi e corridoi umanitari a sud e via mare (perché viveri, medicine e beni essenziali riaffluiscano a Gaza); per il diritto dei giornalisti palestinesi e internazionali a documentare in piena incolumità la situazione creata ovunque dall’invasore; per il riconoscimento dell’inviolabilità dei diritti e delle proprietà dei Palestinesi in Cisgiordania e a Gerusalemme Est; per l’incriminazione, condanna e arresto per genocidio dei vertici politici e militari israeliani;

    (5) trasmettere le suddette richieste a chi ci governa, pretendendo inoltre un embargo sulle vendite di armi agli invasori israeliani, l’interruzione delle relazioni diplomatiche con l’aggressore sionista, il riconoscimento immediato dello Stato Palestinese, l’apertura di una ambasciata italiana in Cisgiordania.

    *

    Paragonare il genocidio attuato dai sionisti alla violenza nazista e fascista è sensato, è pertinente, ha basi storiche e giuridiche, e gli intellettuali italiani su questo e su tutti i punti precedenti devono prendere posizione (avrebbero dovuto prenderla da tempo). La storia non li aspetta, sta già rovinando sulle spalle dei colonizzati.

    Davanti alle immagini, ai video, agli audio delle urla che si accumulano da un anno, le posizioni e la riflessione occidentali o sono frontalmente filopalestinesi e antisioniste, o si rivelano una semplice variante, più o meno moderata, del suprematismo colonialista bianco che ha negli USA il suo epicentro.

  16. 7 take-aways from Nigeria’s first Immunization Collaborative peer learning exercise

    On August 6, 2024, the Nigeria Immunization Agenda 2030 Collaborative concluded its first peer learning exercise with a final Assembly.

    This groundbreaking initiative, a partnership between The Geneva Learning Foundation, Nigeria’s National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), and UNICEF, has already engaged over 4,400 health workers from all 36 States and more than 300 Local Government Areas (LGAs) across Nigeria.

    The Collaborative’s innovative approach focuses on empowering health workers to identify root causes of local immunization challenges and develop practical, context-specific solutions.

    As the initiative continues to grow, with new members joining daily, it could help shift how Nigeria approaches immunization capacity building and problem-solving.

    Right after the final Assembly on 6 August 2024, Nigeria immunization specialist Jenny Sequeira and The Geneva Learning Foundation’s deputy director Charlotte Mbuh shared their initial thoughts about the exercise.

    Here are 7 key takeaways from their discussion.

    https://youtu.be/Y8ei3sXDZpg

    1. Critical Thinking Evolution: Participants made significant progress in their analytical skills, moving from vague problem statements to nuanced understanding of local immunization challenges. The “5 Whys” technique proved particularly effective.

    2. Power of Peer Review: The structured, time-bound peer review process emerged as a practical learning tool, fostering self-reflection and exposing participants to diverse perspectives.

    3. Leveling the Playing Field: The Collaborative created an environment where hierarchies dissolved, enabling workers from the local levels to engage laterally with state and national-level participants.

    4. Focus on Actionable Solutions: Participants were encouraged to identify root causes within their control, promoting practical, context-specific solutions.

    5. Importance of Community Engagement: The process highlighted the crucial role of engaging communities and addressing barriers to improve vaccine uptake.

    6. Emphasis on Implementation: While the RCA exercise was valuable, leaders stressed the critical need for follow-through and implementation of proposed solutions.

    7. Cross-Sector Collaboration: The collaborative saw participation from diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, civil society organizations, and private sector entities.
