LibreCAD, being a fork of QCAD 2.0.5 Community Edition, for a long time had only a Points-based Grid.
Now there are settings to fully customize the Grid look:
1) with Points type its possible to set Metagrid to Continious line type (or other).
2) with Lines type its possible to fully customize both, main Grid and Metagrid line types. Also, its possible to customize the look of Axis Lines and extend them infinitely.

For those who are looking for 2D CAD editor I think that #LibreCAD is a decent choice, the new versions are now quite good, and open #DXF files well, and you can create 2D #technical #drawings without particular difficulties, it is an acceptable solution in many contexts. #opensource #linux https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/releases

If you need to open and edit #DXF or a #DWG files with #Linux you can't do without #LibreCAD, an #opensource #2D #CAD made by volunteers who continue to improve this application, there have been various problems over the years but development has now resumed with constant updates

I use the Professional version of the #OpenSource #QCAD #CAD software, which is amazing 🌈🦄
The free version is fine for #GardenDesign.
https://www.qcad.org/en/qcad-downloads-trialThe Professional version has more features & is only £40. This is £2,610 cheaper than the industry standard #Vectorworks 😳
https://www.qcad.org/en/online-shopThere is also a really thorough #QCAD book as well:
