Just came back from the store and got the #Logitech GFlight Pro system. Its really cool although I gotta figure out how to program it best to work with the PMDG777. Anyone seen this before and have any ideas as to what I can do with this?

Ich nehme euch mal mit auf die Reise, eine #Logitech K400+ Tastatur einzustellen:
- Software downloaden: Flockige 250MB für ne Tastatur... Beeindruckend
- Software installieren. Man soll einer "anonymen" Datensammlung zustimmen, ohne genaue Infos. Yup, genau mein Humor
- Software starten. Man soll sich einloggen oder einen Account erstellen. Wtf?
- Im Hintergrund aktualisiert ungefragt der Dongle
- F-Tasten Einstellung togglen, also was ich von Anfang an machen wollte
- Schietkram deinstallieren

I have used the same #logitech MX Anywhere 2 #mouse since 2015. It has the better technology (laser instead of optical) and looks and feels more premium. My wife gifted me an Anywhere 3S, it kept the technological advantage, but lost all the premium experience.

Also there is no dongle included in the package (as stated on the outer print), but the cardboard inlet has the space for it. Clearly a cost cutting afterthought.

I guess if it lasts 11 years, then it was a good purchase, but meh...

My logi mx vertical left mouse button is failing so I did the most temporary fix I could, swapped the buttons in gsettings. Then after I'm thoroughly confused for a few days I will consider if I replace it or just open it up and attempt button replacement.

I’m down to 4.5GB RAM usage at sign in.

It is… quite an effort wrangling Windows into shape. PC definitely feeling snappier now though.

Got sick of the Logi Options+ app using 160MB+ of RAM just so I can use the side scroll wheel on my mouse as a volume control.

Found X-Mouse Button Control as an alternative. Uses a more reasonable 5MB of RAM.

Hooray for simple utilities!
