My new server is slowly filling up with half understood and then abandoned #efforts. I have (so far):
- been leaning against my stupidity and #learning to follow #instructions, no matter how long-winded
- starting to make inroads into #RSS, old style commando line/terminal efforts
- followed the smart set (wherever #available)
- adopted a new motto, "Yes #youse #Can-can"

I am feeling increasingly hopeless about reaching people with my salvaged textiles products and that despairing leads to posting less about what I'm making and so fewer people see the posts and the spiral continues down to the heat death of my motivation.

I am hopelessly addicted to an album and it pains me that I haven't found anything similar. Grim Salvo created a stunning mix of trap and metal on Mildred. You deal with hopelessness by proving it to yourself. You prove to yourself that it's not hopeless.
You can't fight with your confidence and if you're feeling hopeless that's probably on short supply anyway. So you don't even go there. You prove to yourself that it's not hopeless by taking action.
You take the power you have and you use it to move toward some goal. While you do that you pay attention to your thoughts and your emotions. Both of those will sidetrack you if you're not focused on them.
By proving to yourself that there is hope, no matter how small, it allows you to bring your confidence with you and eventually overcome it all together.
If the fear crops in there, rationalize it to a point where it's manageable. You're not going to be able to override it entirely, but you have to work with it enough that it doesn't stop you.
That's your strategy for hopelessness. I hope it helps.

I was at their store to port my number. Staff enters my number into computer and says I'll get the USC via #SMS. Nothing. Staff tried 5 times before the SMS came through.
Now I'm trying to submit a port request to #GOMO, an #mvno on_Globe's_network. I've submitted my number dozens* of times. Nothing... at all.
And just recently I used the #app of a bank affiliated with Globe (#Ayala group of companies) and it was to send me SMS verification. It took several tries. 🙄
