I don't normally link to anything connected to "that" site however this thread from an ER doctor on the situation in Alberta is timely. It describes the situation my father is in after waiting around 24 hours to see a doctor in the ER and how he's now an EIP (Emergency In-Patient) because they can't release him but there are no beds to admit him to.
