Either the #US #midterms hand #Trump & his government over with a resounding defeat & they go all out & fight, or the national picture remains a 'meh' with great contrasts, in which case #gerrymandering and so called 'sanctuary cities' 👇🏽 (aka 💯% #MAGA with no #opposition 'interference') accelerate.
Which yes, all leads to the same conclusion: the #USA implodes into a 2nd #civilwar, same division lines between the heirs of #confederacy vs. the Union. & 10x as many #guns.

TITLE: Alabama Republicans Seek to Use Prior Map, Despite Racial Bias Ruling

Alabama Republicans asked the Supreme Court Wednesday to let them use a map that favors their party in this year's elections, despite a lower court's ruling that the map intentionally discriminates against Black people. Republican leaders filed an emergency appeal with the justices a day after the lower court refused to let the state use a map it adopted three years ago that has a Black majority in just one of its seven congressional districts.

  8. 1/3 of #republicans voters in #texas are tired of #trump regime. (Also #kenpaxton is a villain.)

    Texas is rootin’-tootin’ #gop .

GOP is about 1/3 of #usa voters. (40% of US doesn’t vote.)

1/3 of 1/3 of all voters are tired of Trump. That’s about a 16% voter base change possible. (#kamala lost with historical low voter turnout.)

If the #democrats get Trump regretters to stay home, they win. (Providing they run good candidates.)

Might even pick up some #gerrymandering districts. #uspol

  23. > The Supreme Court wanted to hide behind this lower court panel and let them make way for a discriminatory map to take effect. But on Tuesday, one Southern court said they would have no part of this nakedly partisan project, writing, “We cannot see our way clear to requiring Alabamians to cast their votes in the 2026 elections under a districting plan tainted by intentional race-based discrimination.”
