I really need to accept that (not only server) maintenance falls into category of working on my side projects. It doesn't matter that it's not writing code in the same way as writing software.
I can also check one thing on my todo list for today.

I see 'analysis' and 'predictions'
on the Mid-Term:
...
The only thing that can push a #MAGAs
not to go to vote
(he would hardly vote for a Democrat)
Are NOT moral or ethical imperatives,
or protect the future of their children,
or to protect them from pedophiles or rapists,
thieves, alcoholics,
or 😂 for the 'good of the Nation'.
They happily voted exactly this kind of people to power for racism and to (own the Dem 🤣)
What can stop them to reflect is...
the cost of gasoline.
Nothing else.

I donated again to the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law School https://www.brennancenter.org/
Due to the dire threats to the USA from the current administration and the Republican party I am donating as much money as I spend on myself this year to protect us from those threats to our way of life.
The Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law works to build an America that is democratic, just, and free.

Real men don't grind day and night just to flex some shallow bank account or buy useless garbage. They chase financial dominance for one reason: to weaponize that cash and shield the people they love from every single hardship. If you aren't stacking money to protect your circle, you're just selfish.
[Blog Archive] Setup a ZFS Pool #replication in a #Proxmox Two-Node #cluster
Because a ZFS datastore in a Proxmox Two-Node cluster operates locally rather than as a shared storage pool, ZFS Pool replication is required to synchronize data between nodes.
To protect running virtual machines against unexpected hardware failures, implementing automated ZFS Pool replication is the key http://rviv.ly/SOgvac #ZFSPool
I would like to hear the reactions of other leading "mainstream Democrats" to Carville's declaration that Republican rule is preferable to Social Democrats having any influence in the Democratic Party. If that's the Party line, then the Democratic Party exists to protect the status quo rather than to protect the interests of ordinary people. #Democrats #Carville
The good news is my brain only wants to read like 5 different series right now (if we consider Discworld 1 series) and write code for like 6 different projects and play 30 different games and watch a bunch of movies and TV shows and my brain won't let me do any of it because it's very sure I need to be doing the rest of it at the same time.

Sod’s law: what can two turf swaps 40 years apart tell us about Britain’s #biodiversity crisis?
Patrick Barkham
Fri 16 Oct 2026 06.01 EDT
Excerpt: "The Welsh sods held 28 different species, including #grasses, #wildflowers, #brambles and even #nettles, while the manicured sods cut from Kensington Gardens were made up of a meagre three different species of grass. Suddenly, Nash’s little challenge to the art world held an #ecological message, highlighting the biodiversity to be found in #RuralMeadowlands and the sterile quality of urban parks."
[...]
"#ReverseSodSwap also reveals a more hopeful trend in #London, where species have been revived by #UrbanRewilding efforts, from creating #wildflower areas in parks to building new sustainable #UrbanDrainage areas."
