If there are #Queer friendly clinics in your corner of the universe and you can afford it, please go to a #doctor who regularly works with #HIV / #STDs / #PrEP so they can measure your symptoms to see what’s going on inside your body.
Things are better for our community than in the early days of #AIDS and those brutal first medicines, so take advantage of that.
Hopefully they can get you back to having the happy, healthy, fun #Gay life your generation deserves to have.

Roughly two months out from the #US national #election, & I've half a plan for how to #vote without bringing the #Coronavirus back home.
It involves lots of #PPE, a 20-minute walk, a train ride, & timing everything so I show up right at opening of early #voting ... & possibly a #Silkwood / #TwelveMonkies decontamination before getting near anyone when I return.
It can be done.
A bit much? Not with the #Dallas transmission rate, & with how few people I see outside my window in masks.

My own Jurassic-era coming out felt pulling-off-a-bandage quick. When the dust cleared I knew who were my enemies, who disowned me, who no longer trusted me around their kids, and who were my real friends —practically all at once. Not something I’d recommend to every #Queer, but it was worth it to get past so much drama in one go.

At last, my turn came today. This being Big D, we had to be all extra and cowboy it up at our vaccination site, AKA the State Fairgrounds. If you ever make it to our fair you'll eventually see this cowboy, Big Tex, looming over you and your funnel cake like a stetson-wearing kaiju. 🤠

Hope you’re staying safe
during #Snowpocalypse #2021.My corner of the #Dallas #gayborhood has been powerless since Sunday evening. I’ve been #grilling, reading by a full #Liberace of candles while watching my breath indoors, and hanging out in our big-boy blanket fort.
Last night street lights came on; Hopefully homes are next; It’s supposed to get above #freezing tomorrow. I’ve enjoyed remembering my #BoyScout winter #camping skills, but now I’m ready for this #MadMaxOnIce situation to end.

I've done very little for #Pride month this year because --look around and pick a reason-- but I think I can handle traveling to and attending a #Queer #Latino event this afternoon down on 7th street: "Orgullo Oak Cliff Pride and Market".
They're even asking people to wear masks for the indoor potion of this event, despite the Governor saying you can't ask for that, so I figure it's being organized by sane people.

I just finished the #audiobook "Legendary Children: The First Decade of #RuPaul's #Drag Race and the Last Century of #Queer Life" by Tom Fitzgerald & Lorenzo Marquez, AKA "T Lo". I bought it to support their light-n-fluffy indie blog (https://tomandlorenzo.com) & focusing on the title's first half, I expected more fun fluff. But like that #book which uses zombies to teach real biology, these canny #gay boys used their topic to dive deep into some meaty #LGBT #history —for which I'm grateful.
