it's the year twenty twenty-six and people are still trying to impose a hard line of difference between bi and pan, like "bi people like this and pan people like that" or whatever... which inevitably ends up coming across biphobic or panphobic or somehow both at once, and alienates people because you're telling them that their sexuality is inaccurate.
as a bi person myself, i am imploring every single one of you trying to make a definitive distinction between bi and pan to understand that there is significant overlap between the two terms and the people who use them, and often it just comes down to whichever one the queer individual in question vibes with.
and a lot of the time, that comes down to whether you prefer a warm or a cool colour palette.
