We are introducing our youngest to Buffy. We reached season 5 last week. It’s still great TV, but the fact that Nicholas Brendon, Michelle Trachtenberg, and my own mother in law have all died in the last 15 months makes it a much tougher watch than it used to be.
It’s my wife’s favorite show of all time, but she’s sitting out multiple episodes this season. Some of it is just way too real.

Got one for a friend, and one for my daughter. Handmade in the US by a small vendor. This is kind of a spam post I guess, but the little guys don't get much attention, so I try to help when I can. Anyway, check them out. Maybe you'll see something you like.

I had a good day. But also I am sad today. Things feel overwhelming. Xander (Nicolas Brendon from #BuffyTheVampireSlayer) died, days after a man decided that the world didn’t need to see a strong female role model, and trump still sucks, and only the good people seem to be dying, and it’s hard to know what to do. But I saw this on IG, and amid the sadness, it made me feel something else too. It’s silly to take comfort in a show, I guess. But it feels better to think: What would #Buffy do?
